Skirfare Barn is an ideal base for school residential trips, geography fieldwork, outdoor education and Duke of Edinburgh groups in the Yorkshire Dales.
The barn accommodates up to 20 students and staff in five ground-floor bedrooms. Also on the ground floor are washroom facilities, separate toilets and showers, plus a spacious drying room for outdoor clothing and walking boots.
Upstairs, the large oak-beamed common room provides space for group meals, evening activities and project work, while the adjoining commercial kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering residential groups. Additional male and female washroom facilities are also located on the first floor.
Outside, the secure one-acre grounds offer spectacular Wharfedale views and include outdoor seating, a BBQ area, secure bike storage and parking for accompanying vehicles.
The barn is centrally heated throughout and offers free WiFi, providing comfortable accommodation for educational visits and school groups exploring the Yorkshire Dales.
